March Stamp of The Month Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog.  So glad you stopped by.  If you are coming from Pam's blog  you are on the right track.  This month we are celebrating the beautiful rose.  There are three different sizes of two-part stamps along with a couple of leaves.  Aren't they beautiful?  Do you remember how to do a two-part stamp?  Just stamp the solid image in a light color, then come back with a darker color on the detail stamp.

I made two cards with this stamp set.  The first is with the For Always Paper Pack.  I think it really shows off the flowers.
 Supplies used:
For Always (X7165B), Whisper Card Stock, Cotton Candy, Ruby, and Pear Inks, Black Tulle Ribbon and Licorice Opaque Gems.
The second card is on the softer side.  I used second generation stamping on the flowers and leaves.  This pattern is from Make It From The Heart.  I also stamped the flower on the Blush cardstock to give it a little background.  If you look really hard you can see it in this picture.  My supplies were Blush, Buttercup and White Daisy Cardstock, Chantilly Paper Pack, Color Ready Seam Binding Ribbon and Sparkles.  Now to continue the hop, go on over to Alyson's blog  and see the great things she has created.  I hope you stop back by again.

The Players

Just a couple of pictures of a group of princesses in the Club.  Don't they look great in their crowns?
I'm so glad we had decent weather for the ladies.  What do you suppose will be in store for next month?

Tommy

This is the second page of the Tommy Workshop On The Go.  I just wanted to show you how neat it looks to stamp White Daisy Pigment Ink on Cranberry Cardstock.  Love it!  And don't you just love how the Cricut cut the corners out on the three squares shown?  There are so many little extras shown in the WOTG that I wouldn't think of.  Like the chevron in the upper right corner.  It adds so much to the layout.
The Tommy Workshop on the Go is just $29.95 and comes with the paper pack, stamp set, white daisy cardstock, the Tommy Assortment, Dimensional Elements Stars and the Instructional Brochure.  What a great value.

February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Thank you for stopping by my little crafting corner.  If you have come from Maureen's blogyou are on the right path.  Or if you are just starting here, read this post and click on the link at the end to keep hopping along for more artwork.

I have a couple of projects using the Stamp of the Month for February.  The first one is a little writing tablet cover made using the Buzz and Bumble Paper Pack.  There is a piece of Cocoa Card Stock that wraps from front to back and attaches to the piece of Champagne Card Stock.  The bee and bee trail stamps are from the Buzz and Bumble Workshop on the Go.  The flowers are from the Paradise Paper Flowers Pack.  Pewter Brads complete the flowers.  The background under the bee is stamped with the flower from (B1398) Just For You.
A peek at the tablet inside of the cover.  I used Velcro to fasten the cover down so it lays flat.
A closeup of the bee.  Just a little popping up makes a lot of difference.

I also needed another Valentine to give this month.  I used paper from the For Always paper pack.  Ruby ink and card stock add a little pop, don't you think?  A Dimensional Heart, a Foundry Metal Pin Clip and the Black Striped Grosgrain finish it off.  Pink Glitter Gems are under the sentiment to add a bit of sparkle.

Home Sweet Home (S1302) is a great 4 stamp set to use on all kinds of projects.  And don't forget, you can get your very own for just $5 with a $50 purchase.  Now hop on over to Misty's blog to see what she has created!

A Little Sneak Peak

This is one of my most favorite pictures of my mom and dad.  No one knows when it was taken, but I'm thinking back when they were first dating.  It could even be an engagement picture, but my mom doesn't remember.  Anyway, it is a favorite.  I got my layout idea from the Make It From Your Heart pattern book.  Mine is almost identical to Pattern #7 on page 18; it's a great page to make.

The papers are from the New Spring/Summer Idea Book.  The pack is called For Always and is just gorgeous.  Black, Desert Sand, Honey, Lagoon, Ruby Slate and Whisper.  You can't go wrong with those colors.   The wording on the bottom of the layout is the zip strip and it says:  Everyone says you only fall in love once, but that's not true, because every time I see you. I fall in love all over again.  Isn't that so sweet.

Supplies:
For Always Paper Pack (X7165B), Whisper Card Stock
A Typeface (A1117)
Black Ink
Cricut Art Philosophy Letters
Paradise Assortment Bakers Twine, Black Opaques. Black Striped Grosgrain, Tags Dimensional Elements, Black Buttons, Lagoon and Clear Buttons (retired) and Popdots

February 1st is just around the corner.  Check out the new Idea Book to find all kinds of great new things.
