September Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to my little crafting space.  If you have come from Amy's blog, you are on the right track.  This month we are showcasing the September Stamp of the Month, Fall Favorites (S1209A).  Don't you love that cute scarecrow!  This is a set of 11 stamps and is $17.95.  But you can get this stamp set for only $5 when you spend $50 on our wonderful products!

I made a card with this set.  It is a standard sized card, with a little different look.  The center is 4.25 x 5.5 inches, but the flaps are 3 inches and over lap the front.
Here is the front of the card.  I used paper from the Moonlight Paper Pack.  There is also a band that wraps around the card to keep it closed.
Here is the inside of the card.  I used the lightest piece of paper on the inside of the flaps so you can put your message there.
Here's a little closer look at the center of the card.  The scarecrow is colored with Watercolor Pencils and the word "fall" is popped up" with Pop Dots.  I hope you have enjoyed looking at my card.  To make this card, I used:
Moonlight Paper Pack
Black, Goldrush, Colonial White and Smokey Plum Card Stock
Black Ink
Wooden Buttons, Watercolor Pencils and Pop Dots

Now hop on over to Diann's blog and check out more fantastic artwork!  Thanks for stopping by!!

Cards from the Avonlea WOTG

With a few of the pieces I had left from the Avonlea WOTG, I made these cards.  Just three simple little cards, fast and easy to put together.  I just love adding the Opaques to them.  I still have a bit of paper left to make more cards, or another layout.  And I have that great stamp set to use over and over again.  What a good value!

Avonlea and the Kids

I've been playing with the Avonlea Workshop on the Go in the last couple of days.  Oh....I just love those colors and that paper!  I made the two 2-page layouts featured on the How To Brochure.  I  love the simplicity and how I was able to use these pictures.  Here is the main layout that has the instructions included.     The Parlor Velvet Rub-Ons included in the WOTG are beautiful and add so much to a page.   I  have to do my journaling and I am finished.
I also made this layout with the left over papers.  This pattern is from Imagine, Grand Finale.  I am not sure I'm done with embellishments yet, but I will add my journaling down the right side of the page.  What do you think?  Need more? Or is it just fine the way it is?

I'm off to make cards now.  And of course to think about this page.  Have a wonderful (crafty) weekend.

Last of the Clementine Cards

Here are the last two cards we made at the Clementine Card Class.  Isn't that turtle cute?  He is from the Pun Fun Set (C1505)  I used Watercolor Pencils on him.
This stamp set is Cup of Cheer (B1404)  The sentiment reads: Your friendship is like coffee, it helps me get through the day.  Isn't that the truth!  I also used a bit of Liquid Glass on the steam from the pot.  Hope you enjoy looking at these.  I would love to have you in one of my classes.

More Class Cards with Clementine

Here are two more cards we made at class the other night.  I used the Cricut to cut out the flower and "thanks" medallion, along with the Creme Brulee piece on the right card.  That machine comes in so handy when cutting out certain pieces.  Makes cardmaking and scrapbooking a snap.  I can't wait to get the new Artist!  Thanks for looking!

New Products Blog Hop

So glad you could stop by to see my artwork for the New Product Blog Hop.  Hope you can take a little time to look around my blog.  We have so many talented consultants showing off the great New products in the Fall/Winter CTMH Idea Book!  If you are coming from Haley's blog, you are on the right track.

There are so many wonderful new products, I had a hard time deciding what to show.  My first example is a one page layout using the Clementine Paper Pack.  Great colors of Cashmere, Champagne, Colonial White, Creme Brulee, New England Ivy, Saddle, Sorbet, and Twilight.  I used:
Clementine Paper Pack (X7156B)
Twilight CS
Approved (C1521)
Cottage Collection (Z1794)
Metal Assortment Brads (Z1366)
Art Philosophy

A close up view of a button from the Cottage Assortment.

I also made two cards using the New Moonlight Paper Pack. Patterns for these cards can be found in our New How To Book- Make It From Your Heart, Volumn 1 (9035)   Colors in Moonlight are Autumn Terracotta, Black, Colonial White, Goldrush, Slate, Smokey Plum and Sweet Leaf.  This paper pack can be used for any season, not just Halloween or Fall artwork. The leaves were inked using the Stamp Rolling Technique.   I used:
Moonlight Paper Pack (X7161B)
Sweet Leaf Cardstock
Fall Harvest (C1504)
Black, Sweet Leaf, Autumn Terracotta, and Smokey Plum Ink
Durables Studs (Z1706)
