November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

So glad to have you stop by for the November SOTM Blog Hop!  Hope you have enjoyed the trip so far!  If you are coming from Angela's blog you are on the right track.  Or you can just start here and work your way around this big circle of artwork.
Capture the Date is a stamp set with endless possibilities.  I took my inspiration for this card from Pinterest.  Can you just imagine all of the birthday cards you can make with this example?  And the scraps you can use up for this simple design?  That is not taking into account the wonderful scrapbook pages and calendars you can make with this stamp set.  Four sets of numbers and two different month fonts!

I used the Pear and Partridge Paper pack along with ribbon and the jewel from the Pear and Partridge Workshop on the Go.  The "25" is popped up and stamped with Chocolate Ink.  Cranberry ink is used for the "december".
Now hop on over to Kristine's blog and check out her wonderful work.  Thanks for stopping by!

Love Blooms

This little round card has me stumped.  I know it should have something else on it, but I can't figure out how to do it.  It needs a sentiment, but I am not sure where to put it.  A little bare....don't you think?  If anyone has suggestions, I am all ears.  I really love this stamp set, so pretty.  It's a two step set.  See how I used the shaded stamp on the leaves?  Maybe this card will have to go back to the drawing board, or in this case the stamping desk.  Have a great day today!

More Abundance

I thought this was an appropriate stamp set for me to purchase beings it had a corn stalk on it.  I work with corn all day long.  Not actually handling it, but telling the guys to go haul it.  I have corn fields all around my house.  Now I have a stamp set to celebrate that fact!

The card is made with Kraft Card stock and I used Antiqued Copper Brads with a little strip of Clementine across the top.  The card pattern is from our book, Make It From Your Heart.

Flirty

Wow, somehow I let a whole week get away from me.  Sometimes the days just get out of control.  Do you have those days?  Yesterday we traveled to Winterset to go to the Madison County Covered Bridge Festival.  What a great day!  It started out gloomy, but the sun came out and really was beautiful.

Just a little card I made the other day.  So simple, just cut out an image from the Flirty Paper Pack.
Add it to my card as the main focus and I am done.  These colors are so vibrant, but also work nicely as fall colors.  The mat color is black and there are three little sparkles in front of "happiness".  Hope your weekend was a great one!

Just a little bit of scenery from my front door.
That little wheel barrow has flowers in it during the summer, but in the fall.....it's pumpkin time.  Now I just need a bale of straw or two.  Happy Sunday!

Abundance

Fall is surely in the air around here.  I don't think I have seen the trees looking so beautiful.  After the harsh summer we had here in SW Iowa, they are in all of their glory now.

It makes me want to get out and enjoy the crisp, sunny days.  Hope I get a chance to do that before snow!

Flirty Paper Pack X7160B

Creepy Creatures

I just love this guy.  Doesn't he just make you smile when you look at him?
I had no plan when I started this card.  I just knew I wanted to use Mr Skeleton here.  I looked for a card pattern that would accommodate his size and went forward.  I inked up the back side of a Milepost Shape to make the black pennant.  Hope you like him!
Supplies:
Creepy Creatures  (C1522)
White Daisy, Black and Smokey Plum Cardstock
Moonlight Paper Pack (X7161B)
Black and Honey Inks
Black Brads, Bakers Twine, and Milepost Shapes

One More Christmas Card

I just had to make one more card with the October Stamp of the Month before I got back to the business of fall and October.  I have never been one to do Christmas cards early, but it makes so much sense to have them done.  I'll be working on the Pear & Partridge Card Workshop soon.  This is very unusual for me.  I might have cards actually done before December.
Supplies:
Very Merry Christmas  S1210
White Daisy and Cranberry Card Stock
Cranberry, New England Ivy and Black Ink
Red Sparkles
Cricut Art Philosophy and the Cuttlebug

Thanks for stopping by.

Bountiful Season

Don't you just love our Quick Card Stamps?  One stop stamping.  Sentiment and image in one!

Here I used our 4 1/2 inch Circle Cards in Colonial White ( Z1352)  So handy to have a pack of cards with the envelopes right with them.  The technique used is Stamp Rolling.  I rolled the stamp in Goldrush first, then back in Autumn Terracotta, and finally in New England Ivy.  I decided to use this card for the H2H Challenge over at Heart2Heart.
Supplies:
Bountiful Harvest A1130
Goldrush, Autumn Terracotta, and New England Ivy Cardstock
Moonlight Paper Pack X7161B
Goldrush, Autumn Terracotta and New England Ivy Inks
Burlap Ribbon & Stardust Glitter Gel

Thanks for looking!  Come back soon.

Warmest Wishes

Here is another card I made using the October Stamp of the Month.  I just love our blues....  I just painted my kitchen blue again.  Can't get enough of the color.

Here I used the mittens from the set.  I am not ready for the real things yet, but these are pretty cute.  I sanded the Outdoor Denim card stock and dry embossed lines to give it a little bit of texture.
Supplies used:
Outdoor Denim, Whisper and White Daisy Card stock
Slate and Indian Corn Blue Inks
Very Merry Christmas  S1210
Sparkles
Outdoor Denim Button, Grey Baker's Twine

Check out how you can get this Stamp of the Month for only $5.00.  Thanks for stopping by!
