February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog and the February SOTM Blog Hop!  This is also the first day to order from the fabulous Spring/Summer Idea Book.  If you have come from Jen's blog, you are on the right track.  There are over 50 consultants participating in this hop.  If you get lost along the way, Melinda has the complete list.

I am always in need of cute little 3x3 cards for gift inserts, thank yous and so forth.  Just a little note to say hello.  So here are a sampling of how I used the February Stamp of the Month, (S1402) Wild About Love to make 3x3 cards.  The stump is popped up, so the fox can peek out from behind.  

I also made a standard sized card to show you today.  These stamps make darling Valentines, but you can do so much more with it.  Two of the stamps are also compatible with the Cricut Art Philosophy Cartridge.

The pattern for this card came straight out of  Make It From Your Heart, Vol.2 available in the new Spring/Summer Idea Book.

More Cloud 9

If you are like me, you don't want to see one piece of paper go to waste.  Here are a couple of cards I made today using the leftovers of the Cloud Nine Card Kit. There is more paper left: some card stock and a bit of the patterned paper.  I will use that too, don't worry.  Also included in this kit are THREE FULL PACKS of embellishments.  So I have a lot of Gold Polkadot Washi Tape, Lagoon Shimmer Trim and Triangle Studs to use on future projects.  What a great value!  And of course I have this cute stamp set to use over and over again.  So here are two cards made with sparkle and bright colors for what appears to be the coldest day here in a long time.

Hip Pics Album Kit

I ended up taking a unplanned absence in December, but I'm back and hoping I can get everyone motivated for the new year!  Can you believe it is 2014?  Oh, My, Goodness.  Let's all get out there and live a little!  Craft, create and make sure you smile every single day.

 I am a little late in sharing this album with you.  This was available in the Holidays From the Heart Gift Guide.  This is one of those "smile" moments for me, so I wanted to share

 It was really easy to do.  Everything you see here was included except the inks.  And pictures of course.

 Now I have a little book of my daughter's family with pictures of Jack just a day old.  They grow fast, don't they.

 I hope there are other small albums offered in the upcoming catalogs and gift guides.  If you need inspiration on putting yours together, I hope I could help.  These are special moments to treasure.

January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Happy New Year!!

 Welcome to my blog!  You are on the trail of the January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  If you have come from Maureen's blog, you are going to right way.  If you get lost along the way, here is a list of all the hoppers to get you back on track.

This month, we are showcasing Cross-Stitch Wishes (S1401).  A set of 13 stamps of hearts, sentiments and more.  

 I made two cards for this hop using several of the stamps found in the set.  Colors used are: Ruby, Lagoon and Honey.  I also used Baker's Twine for a little accent.  Easy Peasy!

Frosted & the Christmas Village

I dug out the little Cuddlebug for the background on this card.  I have a snowflake folder, so I ran a piece of Colonial White CS through and then sponged on a bit of Desert Sand Ink.  This is the Frosted Paper Pack and I used the Frosted Grey Card Stock that only comes with this pack.  The "sweet shoppe" from Christmas Village (D1554) is colored with our Watercolor Pencils.  The building and sentiment are stamped with Desert Sand and a couple of Tan Sparkles are there too.

Another Turkey

In exactly a week, I will be cooking a turkey and some of the fixin's that go with it.  I don't have to have the whole meal, but I am responsible for the star of the show.  Wish me luck, I am going to need it.
